Studio Palms is a creative space and photography studio for hire in Darlinghurst, Sydney, designed to help you bring your ideas to life. Perfect for shooting your brand’s latest range, showcasing a new fashion line or holding a workshop or event, Studio Palms is completely adaptable, so you’re free to mould it however you like.
The Space
A Blank Canvas
Studio Palms is an 88m² space bathed in natural light. It features crisp white walls and rustic wooden floors, with a private side-room for hair + make-up. There is access available to a private bathroom including a shower, as well as kitchen amenities including a fridge and sink.
Provided with your booking is a range of backdrops and equipment to help you create your vision.

Studio Palms provides everything you’ll need to bring your vision to life. Photography and videography cameras are available at an additional cost, but all other equipment is included in your booking. In the studio are a range of different backdrops that vary size and length. All are easily moveable so you can place them wherever needed. We also provide a range of different furniture props. Q- Where is Studio Palms located exactly?
A- Studio Palms is located at L1/63 William St, Darlinghurst, corner of Williams and Riley St. The most central video and photo studio in Sydney, NSW, we’re just a moment’s stroll from Slims Rooftop .
Q- Where can I park?
A- All day parking is available at Wilson Carpark located at 70 Riley St, Darlinghurst. Alternatively, we have accessible street parking nearby on Williams St, Riley St and Yurong Ln.

Q- Do you have speakers in the studio?
We sure do! A JBI portable speaker will be provided with your studio hire. To connect your phone, look out for the JBL Pulse 4 device in your Bluetooth settings.
Q - Will someone be there to open and close the studio?
A - No, you’ll be given a code to a lockbox to open and close the studio. During weekdays, a staff member will be in the building should you need any assistance.
Q - Can I hire the studio on the weekend?
A - Yes, we offer half day and full day studio bookings on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend bookings can be made through our link in bio.
Q - What happens if I break something in the studio?
A - Clients are liable for any and all breakages in the studio. Please take extra care when handling hired equipment.
Q - Any catering suggestions?
A - Studio Palms Sydney is within walking distance to Stanley St. There you’ll find a variety of food and drink, such as: Sushi on Stanley, Mrs Palmers, and Stop Valve Espresso & Bar.
Q - Do you do events or workshops?
A - Yes we do, Studio Palms boasts an 88m² space with the capacity to host 40 people - it’s the perfect place for your next event or workshop.
Q - How do I close up the studio after I’ve finished?
A - Please refer to our ‘Closing checklist’ on the last page in the Studio Palms handbook. If any issues arise, our studio manager will be in the building to help assist you.
